About Us
Amberfield Care Centre is located in the heart of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, nestled in the idyllic park like setting of Amberfield Retirement Village. We offer our residents a tranquil environment where they receive the highest quality nursing and care that they deserve.
The Care Centre offers 46 beds made up of both single and double rooms set in a comfortable home-like environment. Our staff comprise of highly trained and professional medical sisters and caregivers. The Care Centre is not a hospital or clinic, it is a home like care facility for short or long term senior residents. We also have trained home-caregivers for overnight or daily care of dependent people in their Amberfield Cottages.
History
The Care Centre was first opened in 1999 and has since been a warm and caring home to many residents from all walks of life.
The centrally located Care centre also provides external support services including nursing, caregiving, housekeeping and personalised catering. These developing services can be utilized by all in Amberfield as additional support and comfort in their day to day lives.
Certified Care
The Amberfield Care Centre is managed and operates in full compliance of the statutory requirements detailed in the Older Persons Act 2006 (Act 13 of 2006).
